Chris Matthews: Who’s more popular over here? Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden. Put them in order. Who’s the most popular figure over here in Israeli?
Ethan Bronner: Bill Clinton is the most popular of those four. And I would say Hillary is probably next. And then I would say Joe Biden. And then president Obama.
Chris Matthews: Okay, that tells you a lot. So tell me why the President of the United States is so far at the bottom? Is it his middle name? Hussein?
Ethan Bronner: I would say that there is some level of prejudice about the fact that he had some islamic background through his stepfather. But I think it has more to do with the fact that when he came in to office a year ago he wanted to recalibrate the relationship between the United States and the Muslim world. And the easiest way to do that was to put some distance between the United States and Israel. And he did that. And that made people nervous. I think there’s some sense here, that some degree of racism to be perfectly honest.
Chris Matthews: Yeah, because they see it as a black man.
I assure you, Israel is not even SLIGHTLY interested in America’s tired, stupid, past-dated racial issues.
Just something to consider – maybe we detest Mr. Obama because he sides with terrorists and murderers over innocent people? Because his friends are characterized by a blind, empty, ill-formed hatred of Israel? Samantha Power? “Arabs-can-do-no-wrong” Geoige Mitchell? Maybe because he bows in front of dictators and mass murderers?
Look, clowns – Israelis hate Obama because…he hates us. We can’t wait until our friends in America let the adults back into the room. Until then, we have been told basically to go screw – and that is about how we feel towards your government as well.

Wasn’t it Israel that risked lives to rescue a group of African Jews a few years back and then brought them to Israel to live? I would say that trumps that racist claim. Bottom line, Obama is inexperienced in just about everything and it is starting to show through all the Hollywood hype. Hopefully he will go the way of Carter – one term!
Israelis actually see Obama for what he is…an egotistical maniac who thinks he knows what is best for everyone. If that makes Israel racist…fine!

If there are any Israelis reading here, please get this word out: Chris Matthews is an Obama apologist who accuses EVERYONE who criticizes Obama of being a racist. He set that whole conversation up in a way that he could level that charge – he had decided beforehand that if you don’t like Obama, there could be no other reason.
The problem with President Obama is not that he is balack, it’s that he is Red.

These two clowns can go screw themselves. Israel is a pluralistic, multiracial, and multiethnic society. Relations between the ethic subgroups are not perfect, but they are as good or better than in any other heterogeneous liberal democracy. Fellas, when you are a guest someplace other than your own society, and you are accepting the hospitality of that place, it is customary in the civilized world not to tar the whole country with accusations of racism.
